Putting this album together was a total trip. It almost didn't happen, or rather, it was almost something completely different.

The original intention was to release a double album as a followup to VOLI. After a year of self-recording a handful of songs, we realized we were taking the whole thing way to serious. We threw away a ton of demos and started from scratch.

With a new intention and focus (fun), we wrote and recorded Cut Up The Rainbow in about three months. It was a very liberating process that definitely use on future albums. Don't let the details become a bog like we did :) Instead, cut up the details.
